Don't get me wrong, I do like Dick Clark, mostly for his game show and Bloopers hosting. I never really cared for New Year's Eve, let alone Dick Clarke's New Year's Rockin' Eve. Monica and Ross Gellar pretty much hammered the final nail into that coffin a few years back. But last year it was just sad, creepy, and uncomfortable to have him out there. Brave? No. Have some dignity, Dick! Go out on top, which incidentally was 7 years ago.As for Seacrest... Jesus Christ...someone is punishing me a) by his very existence b) by his refusal to go away and c) b must mean that people out there think he is good, interesting, talented? Woe are all of us.
In any event, this post isn't too exciting, because New Year's doesn't get my champagne bubbled if you know what I mean. In any event, yay 2008!
